The District 110 Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) assists the district in promoting effective communication between families, schools, and the community. The SEAC also aims to influence district decision-making by advocating for children with disabilities, birth through age 21.

The purpose of the District 110 SEAC is to provide advice to the District 110 Board and administration. The council’s activities and recommendations will be delivered by the Special Education director to the superintendent (and school board) in a written annual report during March.

For more information regarding the SEAC or how you can become involved, please contact Paul Tordoff, District 110 Special Education Director, at (952) 442-0628 or ptordoff@isd110.org.

Federal or state mandates require the district to establish a special education advisory group to provide input and recommendations on a variety of special education topics. The district's Special Education Advisory Council (SEAC) meets three times a year.
