Welcome to Waconia Public Schools Special Education. In alignment with our district mission to explore passions, create opportunities, and shape futures, our dedicated team of teachers, specialists, and paraprofessionals works every day to empower every student. Having served Waconia Public Schools for over 20 years, I am proud to lead a department that brings our district’s vision to life by creating an inclusive, supportive environment where all learners reach their full potential.

Special education provides specialized instruction tailored to meet the individual needs of children with disabilities at no cost to families. We are committed to delivering high-quality, collaborative services across our district from birth through age 22.
