Event Day Information

Saturday Race Time Line – September 19, 2026

Race packet pick up for the 5K & 10K runs will be in the Bayview Elementary Gym starting at 6:30 am until 7:15 am.

Start Line – Bayview Elementary School, 24 S Walnut Street, Waconia MN, 55387

7:00 am - 7:30 am is the recommended arrival time. Parking is limited near the start and finish line.

8:00 am – 10K starts on Cherry Street, between 1st Street and 2nd Street.

8:10 am – 5K Run & Walk starts on Cherry Street, between 1st Street and 2nd Street

8:45 am – Race packet pick up for the ½ Mile Tickle will take place in the Bayview Elementary Gym from 8:45 – 9:30 am

10:15 am – ½ Mile Tickle run starts on Cherry Street, between 1st Street and 2nd Street. Spruce and N. Pine St. (see Start Line Map below for reference)

FINISH LINE – Bayview Elementary School. All races finish on 1st Street on the South side of Bayview Elementary School

Youth ½ Mile Tickle Information
Race starts and ends at Bayview Elementary School located at 24 South Walnut Street.

The start line will be on Cherry Street between 1st Street and 2nd Street.

Race starts at 10:15 am. Individual races will run approximately every 2 minutes. Boys and girls run separately. Age/Grade is based on race day age/grade. The race schedule is as follows:

Grade 5 & 6, Grade 4, Grade 3, Grade 2, Grade 1, Kindergarten, Ages 4 & 5 (those not in Kindergarten) & Age 3.

Ribbons will be given to all participants at the finish line. Medals will be given to the top 3 boy and girl finishers in each age category.

Please no parents running with children on the race route. This is in place for safety. There will be Cross Country volunteers along the route to help!

Race Parking

Parking is available in the north parking lot of Bayview Elementary and open streets around the school, which is located at 24 S. Walnut Street, in Waconia.

There is no parking on the following streets: First Street, between Redwood Street and Walnut Street; Cherry Street, between First Street and Second Street; Second Street, between Cherry Street and Redwood Street; and Redwood Street, between Second Street and First Street.
