Beginning Monday, August 3rd students can complete the 2026-27 WHS Parking Registration Form and make payment online (instructions below):
From the District Website you will go to My Accounts > Smart School > Students Fees/Checkout (the shopping cart) > Checkout to pay
Parking Permits will be available for pickup in the HS Main Office during the following times:
Seniors: Monday, August 17th | 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Juniors: Tuesday, August 18th | 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Sophomores: Wednesday, August 19th | 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Parking permits must be purchased and displayed in student vehicles by September 11, 2026. After this time, students parking without a permit will be fined.
All students interested in purchasing a parking permit must make sure all previous fees and/or fines have been paid and any outstanding detention time has been served. Students will not be given their parking permit until fines and/or fees have been paid and detention time is served.
Parking Permit Fees:
$150.00 all year (only option when school starts, through the end of trimester 1)
$100.00 for trimesters 2 & 3 (only option at the beginning of trimester 2)
$50.00 for trimester 3 (only available during trimester 3)
For students who only drive occasionally, there is an option to purchase a daily parking pass for $5/per day in the main office when they arrive at school. Students with a day parking pass are not allowed to park in visitor parking or staff parking.
Students and parents are expected to understand the Waconia High School Parking Permit Rules. The complete Parking Permit rules can be found in the Student Handbook pages 33 & 34.
All Waconia High School students and families planning to park a vehicle at the High School should familiarize themselves with the school's parking rules and regulations.
