The Waconia Public Schools' Buildings & Grounds Department is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for students, staff, and visitors.
We are responsible for 943,000 square feet of schools and support facilities. Our facilities are located on 260 acres of land.
Our responsibilities include:
- Maintenance and cleaning of buildings
- Maintenance and landscaping of grounds
- Remodeling and renovation of buildings through construction projects
The purpose of the Health & Safety Committee is to promote a safe working environment by reducing employee injuries and accidents, and ensuring compliance with health and safety laws. It will give employees a direct voice in addressing safety concerns throughout the District.
