ISD 110 selects next superintendent

On Monday, January 31, 2022, superintendent Pat Devine submitted his letter of retirement to ISD 110 school board members. Mr. Devine will wrap up his career at ONE10 on June 30, 2022. This is the page where we will provide updates on the process of naming a new superintendent and status of the search.

Stakeholder Survey Results

Results are in from the Superintendent Stakeholder Survey and we would like to thank everyone who participated and voiced their ideas and opinions. For a district our size, the ONE10 community nearly doubled the amount of completed surveys that were expected. This rate of participation shows the depth of the connection between the district and our stakeholders. Thank you!

The school board reviewed the results of the stakeholder report in detail at a special board meeting held last night (April 14). The district’s superintendent search firm, MSBA, highlighted the alignment between stakeholder responses and the hiring criteria already identified by the school board, both in terms of quantitative as well as qualitative data submitted. Using this information the board will now lean heavily on the Stakeholder Survey results to inform their deliberations regarding the candidates and whether they are a great fit to lead ISD 110. These stakeholder survey results are a critical part of the decision-making process and have given the board solid insights and much-needed feedback to assist them in moving forward with the search process.

The application deadline is midnight on Sunday, April 17. Beginning April 18 both MSBA and school board members will review candidate applications, examining each person’s background, experience, skill sets, qualifications, and alignment with the Leadership Profile, hiring criteria, and stakeholder survey results.

On April 28 the board will then meet at 6:30 pm to select finalists and confirm interview questions, schedules, and procedures. The District Offices are located at 512 Industrial Blvd., Waconia, MN.

The public is invited to attend all meetings in the process.
