What is the PTO?
The Laketown Elementary PTO is a nonprofit organization that works with Laketown Elementary to provide expanded programs for our children and access to educational experiences that go well beyond the typical school day. This can range anywhere from outdoor learning opportunities to residency experiences to family events to field trips to playground equipment.
What does the PTO do?
The PTO provides various activities for students and families throughout the school year and keeps fundraising to just one event—a Move 'N Groove-a-Thon in the fall.
How can I help?
Each classroom will have a PTO Parent Room Coordinator (PRC) to support the teacher and connect classroom families. Watch for more information regarding PRC opportunities coming home soon.
Come to a PTO meeting! Voice your opinion! Help brainstorm! Volunteer your time and talents! There are many tasks that need to be done throughout the school year. They range from leading and organizing events, to being a team member for a family event.
