Welcome to Waconia Public Schools (ISD 110), where students explore their passions and create success! We are excited to share our preschool class offerings for the 2025-2026 school year, which include half-day, extended-day and full-day options! Our school offers a variety of preschool options for children who are ages 3-5 years by Sept. 1, 2025. We strive to educate, collaborate, empower and support families, nurture development, and treat all with respect. Waconia Wildcat Preschool is 4-Star Parent Aware Rated, the highest rating awarded.
Our goals:
- To provide play-based inquiry and nurture curiosity for deep learning in an environment designed by licensed staff to support developmentally appropriate exploration.
- To provide a joy of learning and open the world of learning for the preschool child.
- To support physical, intellectual, and social/emotional readiness skills using a research-based curriculum.
- To engage parents and provide opportunities for connection and support.
- To align with Waconia ISD 110 curriculum to provide a seamless transition to kindergarten
Wildcat Preschool Open House - January 14, 2026
Parents and future preschoolers are encouraged to join us for our Open House on Wednesday, January 14 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at our Early Learning Center (520 Industrial Blvd., Waconia) Open House is an opportunity to learn more about our many preschool options, meet the preschool staff and learn more about the philosophy of ISD 110 Wildcat Preschool. Paws, the Wildcat mascot will be present to interact with children.
Current preschool families and ISD 110 employees may begin enrolling on Monday, January 5 at 7:30 a.m. through Sunday, January 11. An email link will be sent to current families on Monday, December 29th to activate registration. This link is intended for current families and ISD 110 employees, please do not share this link with others.
New families may begin enrolling online on Wednesday, January 14 at 7:00 p.m.
All registrations are completed online through the two-step process outlined below:
Registration Process Instructions
Step 1
For the first step, you will register through Rschool, the online Community Education registration system. You must have an account to register with this system. To avoid problems on registration day, be sure to set up your account or check if it is up to date and that your payment method is current. This registration informs us about your session request, transportation needs, and payments.

Once you are registered online and receive a confirmation from RSchool, your spot is secure. You have a spot in preschool. However, your registration is NOT complete. Move on to the next step with Infinite Campus.
Step 2
For the second step, you will register with ISD 110 through Infinite Campus Online Registration. Infinite Campus registration will carry you into your K-12 journey and will only need updating when requested. This registration is necessary for statewide data collection and emergency or weather-related communication, as well as communication from our superintendent. If you have already registered your preschool student in Infinite Campus for a previous preschool class, this step of registration is complete and does not need to be done again.
During this 20-30 minute process you will be asked to upload a birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residency (a utility bill is sufficient). Please have those documents ready when you begin the process.

Our preschool program is designed to meet the diverse needs of families by offering a wide range of flexible options. Families can choose from 2-, 3-, 4-, or 5-day-a-week classes, with both morning and afternoon schedules available. We also provide partial-day and full-day programming to accommodate different routines and preferences. For added convenience and a seamless school experience, our full-day classes are embedded within each of our three elementary schools.
