The Waconia boys swimming and diving team competed at the State Meet on Feb. 29-March 2 at the University of Minnesota's Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center. 

Junior Jack Hackler became the school’s first ever individual state champion after winning the 100-yard breaststroke event with a school record time of 54.27 seconds.

Hackler teamed up with senior Nolan Elg, junior Alex Kearney and sophomore Sam Swanson to take 6th place in the 200-yard medley relay.

Other results included Hackler taking 16th place in the 200-yard individual medley and Elg taking 17th place in the 100-yard breaststroke.
