Congratulations to Waconia Band Teachers Nick Hansberry and Alli Mottaz for being named the Distinguished Young Band Directors of the Year for the state of Minnesota by the American School Band Directors Association (ASBDA).
The award recognizes teachers early in their career who exhibit the qualities of an outstanding director, demonstrate the association's professional and artistic standards, and help advance school band programs. Congrats Nick and Alli, and thank you for your leadership and mentorship of our talented Waconia musicians!
