Waconia High School senior Kaia Bauerova won the Class AA State Championship in the Vault at Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul. Bauerova's score of 9.825 was tops among the 48 state qualifiers in the event.
In addition to her state title on vault, Bauerova also placed 9th on the Uneven Bars with a score of 9.0875 and 21st on Floor Exercise with a score of 9.1375.
