Waconia 7th Grader Breslyn Kirkpatrick became the school’s first ever state qualifier in girls wrestling on Saturday, Feb. 8, by placing 2nd in the 100-pound weight class at the Section 5 & 6 Individual Tournament!
Sophomore Jaidee Goehring and senior Yasmin Duarte Perez both had strong showings and placed fifth in their respective weight classes.
Kirkpatrick will now wrestle in the State Tournament later this month at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
