SCHOOL BOARD APPROVES 2024-28 STRATEGIC PLAN

At its Monday, March 18 Work Session, the School Board approved the District's 2024-28 Strategic Plan and Strategic Direction Measures. The approval of the plan comes after months of collaboration, discussion and feedback loops with internal stakeholders as well as board members.

The 2024-28 Strategic Plan honors the work that was done several years ago by internal and external stakeholders by maintaining the essence of the previous plan, while at the same time making small changes to ensure that the plan reflects the current direction of Waconia Public Schools. As part of the process, the District also developed new strategic directions, including metrics and measurements to accompany those directions, which will help the District track its progress toward key goals.
